ICFA is a proud part of celebration of the International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture (IYAFA). FAO of the United Nations is the lead agency for commemorating the year in collaboration with other relevant organization. ICFA is in line with the celebrations, which bring together diverse research and case studies from around the world in parallel sessions, while also providing numerous networking and publishing opportunities in the field, as well as discovering the latest trends and challenges in the field of artisanal fisheries and aquaculture.

Welcome to the International Conference on Fisheries and Aquaculture (ICFA) in collaboration with the International conference of Politeknik Ahli Usaha Perikanan (AUP), which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia via Hybrid Mode under the theme “Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture: The Vision, Benefits, Roles, and Responsibilities.

ICFA has been designed as a knowledge sharing platform to provide an opportunity to highlight the potential and diversity of small-scale artisanal fisheries and aquaculture, as well as the benefits that can be gained by facilitating partnerships and cooperation with fish farmers, fish workers and also, to achieve the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
