Seed World South America’s the Platform the Seed Sector Needs

There is no question the seed industry is a niche market. Seed World Group prides itself on being the go-to source for everything seed, thanks to our dynamic teams covering the U.S., Cadiananand European seed sector.

In August 2022, Seed World Group expanded their global footprint, launching its first Seed World South American issue. This year, Seed World South America is back with two issues and a larger distribution than ever before.

The magazine, developed in partnership with the Seed Association of the Americas, provides a platform for the Latin American seed sector and those globally looking to engage with the sector. “Each edition will reach over 22,000 in the global seed industry, from seed businesses to universities to seed associations, and so much more,” says Candace Larsen, business development manager for Seed World Group.

“If you’re looking to communicate directly with your target audience in the seed industry, this is the edition for you.” Why should you look into South America as a platform? “The South American seed industry is definitely one of the most active markets that we work in and the growth is quite staggering,” says Shawn Brook, president of Seed World Group. “There is opportunity at every corner and huge growth for companies that have figured out the correct partnerships.”

The publication will be printed in Spanish, and a digital flipbook will be available in both English and Spanish. In our upcoming issue, there’s a lot to expect! Seed World Group’s writers dove into plenty of topics, such as how La Niña weather affected North and South America’s production and what we can expect when the La Niña season ends, how and why Brazil is ramping up their soybean production and the tremendous growth they’ve experienced since the 1970s and why contraseason production regulations need to be looked at and updated to keep up with the demand in areas such as Chile and Argentina.
