The Vancouver International Wine Festival is the premier food & wine event has three mandates: to provide an informative, educational and entertaining wine experience for public and trade, to be a premier marketing opportunity for the wine industry and festival partners, and to raise funds for the Bard on the Beach Theatre Society.

Vancouver International Wine Festival draws in a large number of wine producers, looking to promote their wine products to prospective buyers. More than 1650 wine varieties, from over 176 wineries, are exhibited during the show. The show also throws up an opportunity for independent manufacturers to gain greater business exposure for their wines. Exotic and tasty wine and food pairings are also put on exhibit during the event.
